We do not train models on your prompts and we do not sell your conversations, though the provider answering a prompt necessarily receives it and applies its own policy. History is stored against your account so it syncs across devices, and Settings will export the entire archive as JSON or permanently delete every cloud-stored chat whenever you ask.
The honest caveat: history that syncs is history that is stored on a server. If your requirement is that nothing ever leaves your own machine, run a local model instead — no hosted product, including this one, can meet that standard, and pretending otherwise would be the kind of claim this site exists to avoid making.
Do not upgrade on day one. The daily cap is the signal: if you hit it repeatedly in the first week, the product is doing something for you and a paid tier is straightforwardly worth it. If you do not, it was not the right tool and you have spent nothing finding out.
